Whether you are checking in, planning your day around Albany, grabbing convenience items, or hiring sports gear for the beach, reception is your one-stop hub for a relaxed and memorable holiday.

Reception

• Our reception is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm during low and mid-season, and 8:00 am to 9:00 pm during high season.
• Closed Christmas Day.
• For urgent assistance outside of these hours (noise concerns or lock-outs), our after-hours security team, South Coast Security can be reached on 0417 964 102.

On-site mini shop and essentials

Stop by reception during opening hours for quick daily necessities, including:

• Fresh milk, bread, drinks, and snacks
• Bagged ice and fishing bait
• Sun protection and everyday personal care essentials
• Locally sourced Western Australian treats and gifts

Complimentary DVD library

Enjoy a quiet movie night in your cabin or villa. We offer a wide selection of family-friendly DVDs available for free loan throughout your stay.

Sports and equipment hire

Make the most of our beachfront location and nearby park facilities with sports and water equipment available for hire directly from reception. 

• Equipment hire is strictly for in-house guests only. Non-guests are not permitted to hire equipment.
• No security deposit is required; however, the hire must be linked to the guest's booking account, and a valid credit card must be stored against the booking to cover any damage, loss, or non-return of the hired item.

• Sports equipment (basketball, football, volleyball, cricket set) - $10 for 2 hours
  
  • Public basketball courts are located just a 2-minute walk away at Eyre Park, and permanent beach volleyball nets are situated on the sand directly in front of Three Anchors.
• Surfboards and bodyboards:
  • 2 hours - $30
  • Half-day - $45
  • Full day - $75

What are the reception opening hours at BIG4 Middleton Beach?

Our reception is open every day from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, except on Christmas Day when reception is closed. If you plan to arrive after 9:00 pm, please contact our team in advance to arrange your late arrival key collection.

Who can hire sports equipment and surfboards from reception?

Sports gear, surfboards, and bodyboards are available for hire to in-house guests staying at the park. Equipment hire is strictly for in-house guests only. Non-guests are not permitted to hire equipment.

Where can we use the hired sports balls and beach gear?

Middleton Beach is directly accessible from the park for bodyboarding and surfing. Eyre Park is just a 2-minute walk away with public basketball courts, and permanent beach volleyball nets are located on the beachfront near Three Anchors.

Can reception book Albany tours and attractions on our behalf?

Yes, our team can provide brochures, travel advice, and directly book regional experiences, including whale watching charters, guided eco-tours, and attraction passes.
