Accommodation with limited mobility access

Some of our Spa Villas offer partial access, but may not be suitable for all wheelchair users. These villas include:

• Ramp access to the patio and entrance door.
• Shower and toilet chairs available upon request.

Please note that these villas have:

• No grab rails or handles in the shower.
• A small recess at the bottom of the shower.
• Standard-width door frames (820mm wide).

These features offer some access, but may not meet the needs of all wheelchair users. We encourage guests to consider these features when booking to ensure the villa meets their individual needs. Step-free grounds and park access

Our park grounds are designed for easy, level movement:

• Step-free pathways - All major pathways connecting accommodation, facilities, and the beachfront access are step-free, wide (over 900mm), and paved with smooth concrete or asphalt.
• Ground-level facilities - Aside from our two-storey Beach Houses and the guest lounge above reception, all communal facilities, dining areas, and park grounds are on ground level.
• Pool area access - The swimming pool and heated spa area feature level wheelchair access, with a staff member or travelling companion required to assist with operating the entry gate.

Accessible facilities and common areas

In addition to our accessible Spa Villas, we offer the following facilities across the park:

• A dedicated accessible bathroom with handrails located next to the general amenities block.
• Ground-level access and wide doors to the Recreation Building, Kids Club room, and Campers Kitchen.
• Inclusive play spaces featuring level access, rubberised ground surfaces, and sensory/tactile play panels.

We understand that holidays can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we are happy to support guests with sensory sensitivities or cognitive support needs:

• Quiet spaces - The Kids Club room (outside of scheduled holiday activity sessions) and the upstairs guest lounge offer comfortable, low-sensory environments for parents and children.
• Hypoallergenic bedding - Non-allergenic cushions and pillows are available upon request to replace down feather furnishings.
• Communication support - Our team can provide large-print park maps, visual check-in aids, and written park guidelines.

Assistance animals

Certified guide dogs and assistance animals are warmly welcomed throughout BIG4 Middleton Beach:

• Please notify our team at the time of booking and have your certification, assistance dog pass, or Public Access Test (PAT) documentation ready so we can update your reservation.
• Water bowls and bedding are available upon request from reception.
