Albany is - Experience an immersive soundscape designed to be listened to on personal devices while exploring coastal or urban trails. This unique project coalesces the stories of the Menang people and the community, creating a living portrait of Albany.
- Bloom Festival (12 September - 11 October 2026) - Spring comes alive across Western Australia’s Great Southern as the 2026 Bloom Festival returns for a month-long celebration of wildflowers, community, culture and country hospitality.
- Southern Art & Craft Trail (12 September - 11 October 2026) - Explore exhibitions showcasing the very best of visual arts and crafts including Sculpture, Painting, Photography, Print Making, Glasswork, Textiles, Jewellery, Pottery, Woodcraft and much more.

Carrying the Fire (7 November 2026) - The celebration edges closer to conclusion with a stunning lantern procession of thousands of handmade lanterns illuminate the coastline all the way from Emu Point to Binalup/Middleton Beach.
- Christmas Festival and Pageant (5 December 2026) - From dazzling entertainment and live music to delicious food, Christmas markets, and activities for all ages – there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
- New Year's Eve Picnic & Fireworks (31 December 2026) - A dynamic line-up of live music and delicious food from 5pm at Anzac Peace Park, along with spectacular fireworks, with a family-friendly display at 9pm and a grand finale at midnight to welcome in 2027.

Is BIG4 Middleton Beach pet-friendly?
- Yes, we welcome your furry friends on caravan and camping sites during low and mid-season; however, we do not accept pets during school holidays or public holiday long weekends. Conditions apply, please refer to our Pets page here.
Are camp fires or fire pits allowed at the park?
- Open fires are prohibited in the park, but there is a cosy wood fireplace located in the Campers Kitchen, for all guests to enjoy in the cooler months.
- There are electric and gas BBQ’s in the park located by the pool, amenity block, camp kitchen and by gated entrance at far end of park.
What are the reception and office hours in Albany?
BIG4 Middleton Beach reception hours are:
- 8:00 am – 8:00 pm during low and mid-seasons
- 8:00 am – 9:00 pm during high season
- Closed Christmas Day
