Is BIG4 Middleton Beach pet-friendly?

  • Yes, we welcome your furry friends on caravan and camping sites during low and mid-season; however, we do not accept pets during school holidays or public holiday long weekends. Conditions apply, please refer to our Pets page here.

Are camp fires or fire pits allowed at the park?

  • Open fires are prohibited in the park, but there is a cosy wood fireplace located in the Campers Kitchen, for all guests to enjoy in the cooler months.
  • There are electric and gas BBQ’s in the park located by the pool, amenity block, camp kitchen and by gated entrance at far end of park.

What are the reception and office hours in Albany?

BIG4 Middleton Beach reception hours are:

  • 8:00 am – 8:00 pm during low and mid-seasons
  • 8:00 am – 9:00 pm during high season

We are open 7 days a week and have a wide range of tourist information, gas bottle refills and a range of convenience items available in our Park General Store.

Who do I contact for after-hours noise or security concerns?

Quiet time in the park is observed between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. If you have any noise concerns or security issues after reception has closed, please contact our after-hours security team South Coast Security on 0417 964 102.

What time is check-in at BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park?

  • Check-in time is from 2:00 pm
  • Please note, we always will try our best to accommodate early check-ins but sometimes it is simply not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Please let us know if you may be arriving after office hours, so we can arrange a late check-in for you.

What time is check-out and can I request a late departure?

  • Check out time is by 10:00 am
  • Late check-out by arrangement only and must be prior to departure day. Please note, we always will try our best to arrange late check-outs but sometimes it is simply not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
  • If leaving early, please arrange with reception where to leave your keys.

What are the opening hours for the swimming pool and recreation room?

Swimming pool and recreation room hours vary slightly between seasons, and for safety reasons, these facilities must close when Reception closes. Please refer to the signage posted on the pool gate and reception door for the most current closing times during your stay.

Does the park have a day visitor policy for guests?

  • Yes, registered guests are permitted to have visitors during their stay. All visitors must be registered at reception when entering the park and further must park their vehicle in the public Middleton Beach car park. Please note, guests and their dependants are not permitted to use the parks’ facilities, due to liability and insurance reasons.
  • Please note it is the responsibility of all parents/guardians to supervise children at all times during your time at the park. 
  • ​We apologise for our strict policy but have implemented this to protect our local business and paying guests right and entitlements to park facilities.

How often is the accommodation serviced during a stay?

For guests staying in our accommodation, we provide a full service every 5 nights. Please note, this service is not available on weekends or public holidays. Please enquire at Reception for more information. 

Is there free WiFi available at the holiday park?

  • Complimentary WiFi is available for guests staying at BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park, though it can be limited at times due to our remote location.
  • It is suitable for checking social media and emails, but not for streaming movies.

Is there additional parking available for boats or extra cars?

  • While our sites accommodation options have space for one vehicle, we understand that some guests may need to bring an additional car or a boat. Please contact reception in advance of your stay so we can discuss your options and assist with parking arrangements.

Do you have an electric vehicle charging facility on site?

  • We do not have a permanent charging facility on site, but EV charging can be arranged for a fee of $30 per occasion.
  • Alternatively, the closest paid charging station is located at 255 Stirling Terrace, Albany WA 6330.
